DevFest is built by the community, for the community. Our volunteers are the creative minds, the helpful hands, and the driving force that makes the event a success, both in the weeks leading up to the event and on the day itself.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated team of volunteers to help us build and run an incredible conference for 650+ tech enthusiasts on Saturday, 8th November 2025.

Volunteer Roles & Opportunities

We have two main ways you can contribute based on your skills and availability:

A. Pre-Event Crew (The Creatives & Marketers)

Help us build the hype and create a beautiful brand for DevFest. These roles are flexible, can be done remotely, and are perfect for those who want to contribute their creative skills.

• Graphic Design: Are you skilled with tools like Figma, Canva, or the Adobe Suite? Help us design stunning social media posters, website banners, and on-site branding.

• Social Media & Marketing: Love crafting engaging posts and connecting with the community online? Join our marketing team to manage our social media channels (X, LinkedIn, etc.) and help with promotional campaigns.

• Content Creation: Enjoy writing? Help us draft blog posts, speaker spotlights, and other content to tell the story of our event.

B. Event-Day Crew (The On-Site Superstars)

Be the face of DevFest on November 8th! These roles require you to be on-site at the venue and are crucial for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our attendees.

• Registration & Welcome Crew: Be the first friendly face our attendees see, managing check-ins and distributing swag kits.

• Session Management: Assist our speakers, keep track of time, manage microphones for Q&A, and ensure sessions run smoothly.

• Attendee Experience: Staff the information desk, guide attendees around the venue, and be the go-to person for any questions.

Your Commitment

• For Pre-Event Crew: A commitment of a few hours per week, working remotely and flexibly, from now until the event day.

• For Event-Day Crew: Full availability on-site on Saturday, November 8, 2025 (approx. 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM), plus a mandatory virtual briefing session about a week before the event.

You can apply for a pre-event role, an event-day role, or both!

Volunteer Perks

As a thank you for your invaluable contribution, all volunteers (both pre-event and event-day) will receive:

• A complimentary pass to attend the event.

• Meals and refreshments provided on the event day.

• A digital Certificate of Appreciation.

• An invitation to a special post-event thank you meet-up with the core organizing team.
